“Grow the practice” sounds like a goal, but it does not tell a team where to begin, what to make, or how to decide whether the work succeeded.
Make the goal specific
Name the treatment or the practice. Know how much room the schedule has, what a new patient is worth there, when you need them, how many already ask, and what happens after someone calls or fills in a form. With those answers, “grow the practice” becomes a brief someone can act on.
Prove it in one place first
A pilot at one practice, or a few, lets the video, the ads, the website and the front desk’s follow-up change together, with each call and form traced to its source in the platform. After 90 days the numbers should support one of three honest decisions: expand, adjust or stop.
For a DSO, the pilot is also the rollout plan. Bright Direction Dental, a 50+ practice DSO, piloted CareRM at two practices. About four months later, 16 practices are signed, and counting.
Carry the learning, not just the budget
Once it works at one practice, the next dollar carries context. You know which story brought patients in, which handoff lost them, and which treatment deserves the next shoot. Start with one practice or a few. Set the baseline, prove it there, then carry what works to the rest.
